The southern part of Lake Saima is similar to the mid part of Stockholms Archipelago - a mixture of rocky beaches and quite a lot of vegetation behind. One big difference is the number of boats around - we met not more than a handful other boats during a day - another one is the large number of quiet and empty little bays everywhere around, no fenders needed!
