A nine weeks trip from Stockholm through the archipelagoes of Åland and Åboland and the Bay of Finnland to the Saimaa Canal, then up north to Kuopio in central Finnland, and back.
A four days trip up north to Lulea and further on by Malmbanan ("ore-railway") to Narvik in Norway, then westward along the Lofoten islands to the small town of Svolvaer and back home.
some swedish winter pics
This summer's sailing trip brought us up north and past Höga Kusten, famous for its scenery. Navigation there is easy - no underwater rocks, what you see is all there is.
This album contains 22 photographs of Sir Francis' ship's dog, Smilla. Smilla is today (january 2006) six years old, she began sailing with us at the age of three months, and seems to enjoy it a lot.
